Prior to joining the DeAngelis Center Foundation as Executive Director and Business Manager, Shawna volunteered for the organization since prior to our formation. Shawna’s professional background includes consulting on nonprofit management, grant management, communications, IT administration, human resources, nonprofit accounting, commercial real estate development, project management, and construction management.
Shawna joined in supporting the DeAngelis Center Foundation due to her advocacy for school safety. She believes that if our organization can share our expertise with others, school and community safety will be improved for everyone. “As school safety is the number one concern of families, the work of the DeAngelis Center Foundation is crucial and the best work I can spent my time supporting!”
