Director, Sports Marketing
Al Rondon is a seasoned sports marketing leader responsible for shaping and advancing the Coca-Cola North America Operating Unit’s sports marketing strategy, with a primary focus on NBA and NCAA partnerships. In this role, he leads the development and execution of the North America basketball vertical, including annual NBA and NCAA marketing plans, integrated retail activation strategies with national and regional customers, and premium fan engagement programs at key NBA events and NCAA championship activations.
With more than 30 years at The Coca-Cola Company, Al brings deep expertise in marketing asset management, sports partnerships, and brand-driven growth. His experience spans high-profile partnerships with NASCAR, NHRA, U.S. Soccer, Major League Soccer, the New Jersey Nets, and the New Jersey Devils, as well as leadership roles in bottler operations and sales.
Al also has a strong background in operational, brand, and multicultural marketing, including the development of impactful programs tied to the FIFA World Cup and the Mexican National Team. His career reflects a consistent track record of leveraging sports and cultural passion points to drive brand relevance and business results
